Beach Glass Necklace
Every Summer, people descend on our beaches, whoop it up, breaking bottles on the shore and otherwise engaging in all sorts of chicanery. Every Fall, Lake Michigan eats them up and spits them back out (the bottles unfortunately, not the people) in all sorts of interesting and smooth pieces. Scott's Mom likes to take daily 400 mile walks along the beach, finds them and turns them into jewelry. Now you understand the entire process.
